People watch the movie and then download the music as they leave the cinema. And remember lots of LMs have said they refuse to hear any of the music before they watch the movie! "OMG if there's no ASIB single, then this must mean we're getting LG6 this year! " We'll get a ASIB single release before the soundtrack. I'm saying this from the start that ASIB music may not be promoted a lot, but only as music coming with a movie. Some of you called me a hater for saying this. It seems I was right. ASIB is a sountrack promoting a movie not an album promoting Lady Gaga. See the bright side : you'll get new Gaga music that will be included in a full +1h30 movie. All at the same time. Something like This Is Me is more of a pop song in comparison to something from La La Land, for example, which would be a waste of effort sending to Top 40 radio. A Star Is Born is set within the modern popular musical landscape. If there is something with potential, I don't see why they wouldn't release. The movie is going to need the all the promotion it can get - it's not a Marvel, DC, or Disney movie. It's a struggle to get people to go see a regular adult drama in a theatre and not wait for Netflix or VOD (hence theatrically released romantic comedies & dramas kind of dying out). I would understand if it was a real musical with broadway-esque songs, but this is contemporary music. Even TiHTY got a push (& became a #1 Dance smash ).
