She did not impacted popular culture in any significant way. She's not a legend. The only pop girl close to legendary status is Lady Gaga. She needs to up her performing,songwriting,singing,etc skills and become a lot more groundbreaking and drop off that homophobic country fanbase she still clings on to and do something extremely out of the confines of her pop and country comfort zone,a la ARTPOP or Stripped or The Velvet Rope with some type of experimental music and not what all the pop girls are currently doing. I got to see her in a whole new light and I really enjoy her work now.
