Or, in TS's case -- standalone country song (Babe) after pop album (Reputation).

A true reverse Joanneholian expedition :ladyhaha:

What if tomorrow I see you again? Should I say that I used to love you?

😯 its so flat. Like people keep on relying on effects cute ideas but musicality is what makes good composition. Cmon some dynamics, this is so lifeless.

First make good song. Then think how to make it sound. This was like a synthetic studio copy of whats modern. An interesting take in some parts but a really bad song

Sadly all of this top the charts nowadays. Maybe this one will too:selena:

i mean, it's an okay song.

depends on how desperate he is and how much payola his label is willing to use to make it a hit

Serving The Cure… and it woulda smashed too if Gaga actually did TV performances

It looks like dropping a standalone pop single after a country album is the thing now :ladyhaha: and some say Gaga doesn't make trends anymore :huntyga:

Let's not forget that their albums coincided with Super Bowl performances, too. He is really trying to be her :triggered:

edit: someone already said this i'm a flop i'll leave sorry

Alphaz

Everybody said this is his "The Cure"

In before he's making a music video for the song

Then it's definitely not his "The Cure"

This song this so boring tho

"for the night" repeating nonstop just like The light is coming to take back what the darkness stole :madge:

Looks like musicians nowadays are to lazy to come up with great lyric, so they just repeating verses and choruses for like hundreds times :madge:

The only one right here who's desperate is you.

Gaga literally dropped a standalone single after an album release last year, so what made Gaga and JT different in this sense?

And let's not forget you didn't reply me (probably because you didn't know what to say) when I said that Man of the Woods Tour grossed higher than the Joanne World Tour on an average night basis.

Well dang, u came out here aggressive

Actual footage of you coming into my comment which was not directed at you:

Truly i don't even remember what you are referring to about the Tour. I don't really stalk user members on here or remember my specific interactions with them.

But both releases had their levels of desperation. Each seemed to want a mainstream hit. Soo..im not really being bias here. Just honest.

enjoy your day :vegas:

It doesn't sound organic to me, the melody seems forced, I don't know how else to describe it. One of those songs with a melody that doesn't really work and seems random and out of place
