Not at all. It was a match made in heaven and they produced a beautiful masterpiece together. Gaga hasn't released her magnum opus album yet (her magnum opus song is obviously Bad Romance) but Joanne is still a beautiful album, regardless of what certain people think of it. At the end of the day,Gaga put her heart and soul into the autobiographical nature of the album and that's what stands out the most and why she's one of the most unique and brilliant artists of our generation. We don't have many genuine artists left and we have to cherish Gaga.

This. Gaga's voice and melodies, Florence's voice and lyrics plus Mark's production, this should've been a total masterpiece:giveup:

Instead we get repetitive cheesy lyrics and a super cheap sounding instrumental.

Honestly so true. I was so excited when I heard Florence was on the album and then I heard the track and was heartbroken. There's so many amazing ways a Gaga/Florence track could have went and the fact that we got a weird elton john knock off is mind-boggling

Spoiler

I mean let's not forget Ronson has a history of ripping off other artists work :reductive:

REALITY

Not at all. I loved the work they did on the album, and honestly, Ronson has become one of my favorite producers that Gaga has worked with. In fact, she should work with him more.

Then why did everyone comment on how Perfect Illusion’s acapella sounded like a demo when we first heard it?

Pop fans are used to wildly overproduced vocals.

I don't enjoy the Joanne album much but it was interesting and different. It's not my cup of tea but I would not delete it from her catalogue

Theres nothing wrong with him or his productions. Hes a versatile and talented producer. Some people just didn't like the country/americana direction Gaga took with Joanne.
