What artists could make a Broadway musical?

Which artist do you think would make a really good musical (similar to how Sara Bareilles did The Waitress). Of course Gaga...that goes unsaid. But who else do you think has the songwriting skills, creativity, storytelling, and vocals to put on a good show?

My choices would be:

Marina and the Diamonds —> lyrics have emotion and she is great at telling a narrative through lyrics

Fun./Nate Ruess —> i always thought his lyrics had a musical-esque feel to them and his song are (no pun intended) fun.

Ingrid Michaelson —> similar reasons as Sara

Panic! at the Disco —> vocals are there and they have such fun songs. I think he could be very creative given the opportunity for something like this

Honestly, Marina's lyrics could be great for Broadway, especially from her first album. They tell such self-contained stories, it's perfect.

Also, Ariana definitely has the voice. I think she was on Broadway before Victorious, but still imagine her belting songs like "Jason's Song" which was written by her Broadway producer friend

I was listening to her first album today! That’s what made me make this thread.

And id totally be game for Ariana on broadway...she was great on Hairspray Live! And I just read that she may be playing Elphaba in Wicked
