I think looking at the inclusions on her JWT setlist could reveal some insights. She included BM and Scheiße. Of all the other past songs people love, she chose those two and BM is especially left field. To me, that says that she’s got 80s on the brain again and most especially a hard sound (or at least did). I mean, BM is essentially a metal song made electropop disco. I could see something of that sort rising out of the work given who we know she’s worked with.

Well I think she will definitely go back to pop but I don’t see her doing EDM again. I could see it being like a Disco Pop record  (like Fashion!) and Gothic Disco would SLAY!  I hope she does that!

Alejandro's synths/Euro. influence + ARTPOP's experimental vibes + rock-ish like Yoü and I + disco funk.

Here for that orchestra-pop she was conducting, too.  And for C3C.  I think we will be drowning in Gaga this year/next year: ASIB, LG6, and C3C.  All worth the wait.
