The ban has nothing to do with forcing women out of oppression but is a measure to enforce national security. You're in a western country, and we're used to see the face of the people that is around us in public places, it's our culture and they should get used to it. In some Middle Eastern countries it's obligatory for foreign women to wear hijabs, and it's their culture, when you go there you need to agree with their laws.
