Morocco bans the burqa as well, but yeah white people 

almost all countries ranking high on freedom index are “white” countries, so yeah white people are a piece of work with their freedom

I don't like bans in general by the government and think people should be as free as to wear whatever they like.

However, I also consider wearing a burqa in a country like the Netherlands(about 200 women wear them on a 17 million population) EXTREMELY rude. When you talk to people you should talk to their face, that's just common courtesy in the country they moved to and they should respect that. But if you want to be anti-social that's fine by me, but don't expect any form of service when you can't even dress decent yourself.

You can't force people out of oppression smh.

You're not helping anyone by saying, "hey you're oppressed that you have to wear this, let me take it off," when many women choose to wear it and feel good with it. A burqa doesn't inherently oppress someone. Other things that actually do should be banned so people can wear whatever the heck they want.

Edit: to all people saying this is awkward or rude in public, are you for real? If it weren't a burqa but some other thing you wouldn't be complaining. Numerous of Gaga's dresses are rude to wear in public yet we Stan when she carries herself in public in them.
