It's been shown many times that higher overall voter turnout consistently results in Democrat success. When the voters aren't passionate enough about their candidate to even go out and vote, Republicans win. Anyway, more on topic.. everyone please make sure to vote in midterm elections this year so we begin to Make America Gay Again The Republicans have been successful because of gerrymandering and because of the fact that they show up to vote in every single election...local, primaries, state, and mid-terms. The Dems have to be "motivated" to get out and vote for local and mid-terms. Democrats "fall in love", Republicans fall in line...which means Reps vote every time. That's why they win. The Supreme Court has already agreed with one gerrymandering case in Texas. With Kennedy out, look for gerrymandering to stick around and for mid terms to be more difficult. The whole furry thing isn't my thing, but I'm sure it's not what you are trying to making it out to be. There's no relationship here between voting and a personal choice that isn't hurting anyone. Personal choices between two consenting adults have nothing to do with morality here.
Edonis 28,974
Congratulations people who voted for Trump, refused to vote for Clinton, or chose to vote third party/didn’t vote because they simply didn’t care about the ramifications of their careless behavior in 21st century politics. You guys must feel very great about yourself right now. And I have absolutely no sympathy. I don’t want to hear complaints from the clowns that genuinely thought that a Hillary Clinton presidency would be anywhere NEAR the bullshit, corruption, and downright embarrassment that we’re experiencing now. Y’all knew exactly the dangers associated with the Trump presidency, you knew exactly what kind of rhetoric the Trump team plays at, and you knew exactly what would happen when Kennedy retires (Trump literally spoke about his hypothetical replacement during the election season). So don’t even bother with the pseudo-outrage, how could this happen BS when Gay marriage is taken away, abortion restrictions become even tighter, and even worse political outcomes come to light. Y’all could have voted like you should have back in 2016 instead of fighting battles on the internet and spreading Trump propaganda. Bye.

Eighteen 5,430
it's weird to see people still defend voting for a 3rd party candidate in 2016, particularly if you live in a purple state. i mean at this point minds aren't going to be changed and the past is the past, but . . . r u serious? lol
Eighteen 5,430
and hillary was an ok candidate. but you know, emails, private server, banghazi, delegates > racism, bigotry, supreme court appointees, misogyny, more money for the rich, puerto rico's disaster, iran deal torn up, obamacare weakened, democracy weakened, attacks on the FBI, conflicts of interests, on and on and on. just keep rationalizing -_-

Blame the DNC for choosing an unelectable candidate for a majority of rural states. Insulting third party voters shows a lack of nuance and political knowledge. Those votes would not have gone to hillary anyway. I just want to point out.. Its the system that caused her to loose.. you do realize Trump lost the popular vote by the largest margin in history and still won? Hilary Won the peoples votes.. However the current setup is not what it should be.. She was electable.. Period.. Thats why the PEOPLE elected her..
ItsTommyBitch 12,640
We are ****ed. One of if not the biggest reason(s) to not vote for Trump was this See gay rights, abortion rights, women's rights in the next 30 years - this is just social issues, they will **** over anyone who isn't upper class white and male Just a reminder that when Scalia died, Obama who was still president, was refused his power to appoint a judge by Mitch McConnell and Republicans, because they are that petty. He even selected someone who was a known moderate. This is a party that does not care about fairness, or respect. They care about preserving their own power at any means, and they will sure as hell lie to you in order to do it. If you are still voting Republican, wake the **** up 私自身もこの世の中も誰もかれもが, どんなに華やかな人生でも, どんなに悲惨な人生でも, いつかは変貌し, 破壊され、消滅してしまう. すべてがもともとこの世に存在しない一瞬の幻想なのだから
rumours 45,521
All these comments bashing third-party voters need to stop. I stood by my decision then and would do it again if I were to vote today. Thank you @SolidSnake for at least breaking up the establishment echo chamber some (even though I still don’t understand how furries came into the conversation ). 1 hour ago, Eighteen said: it's weird to see people still defend voting for a 3rd party candidate in 2016, particularly if you live in a purple state. i mean at this point minds aren't going to be changed and the past is the past, but . . . r u serious? lol Yes.
