The Republicans have been successful because of gerrymandering and because of the fact that they show up to vote in every single election...local, primaries, state, and mid-terms. The Dems have to be "motivated" to get out and vote for local and mid-terms. Democrats "fall in love", Republicans fall in line...which means Reps vote every time. That's why they win.

The Supreme Court has already agreed with one gerrymandering case in Texas. With Kennedy out, look for gerrymandering to stick around and for mid terms to be more difficult.

Congratulations people who voted for Trump, refused to vote for Clinton, or chose to vote third party/didn’t vote because they simply didn’t care about the ramifications of their careless behavior in 21st century politics. You guys must feel very great about yourself right now. 

And I have absolutely no sympathy. I don’t want to hear complaints from the clowns that genuinely thought that a Hillary Clinton presidency would be anywhere NEAR the bullshit, corruption, and downright embarrassment that we’re experiencing now. Y’all knew exactly the dangers associated with the Trump presidency, you knew exactly what kind of rhetoric the Trump team plays at, and you knew exactly what would happen when Kennedy retires (Trump literally spoke about his hypothetical replacement during the election season).

See gay rights, abortion rights, women's rights in the next 30 years - this is just social issues, they will **** over anyone who isn't upper class white and male  

Just a reminder that when Scalia died, Obama who was still president, was refused his power to appoint a judge by Mitch McConnell and Republicans, because they are that petty. He even selected someone who was a known moderate. This is a party that does not care about fairness, or respect. They care about preserving their own power at any means, and they will sure as hell lie to you in order to do it. All these comments bashing third-party voters need to stop. I stood by my decision then and would do it again if I were to vote today.
