BLACKPINK Enters Billboard Hot 100 + Makes K-Pop History

BLACKPINK makes K-pop history as they're currently the highest charting K-pop girl group to hit the Billboard Hot 100 at #55 with their comeback song "DDU-DU DDU-DU"

The only other all-female K-pop group with a Hot 100 hit to its credit is Wonder Girls, who scored one entry, "Nobody," in 2009. The track debuted and peaked at No. 76.

"DDU-DU DDU-DU" arrives with 12.4 million U.S. streams and 7,000 downloads sold in the tracking week ending June 21, according to Nielsen Music

The EP “Square Up,” BLACKPINK’s latest release, debuts at No. 40 on the Billboard 200. It recorded 14,000 equivalent album units. The album is the group’s first entry on the Billboard 200 and the highest-charting to date by a K-pop girl group.

In addition, the music video for DDU-DU DDU-DU has reached 100 Million views in just 10 days
