Million Reasons recieved as much promo as humanly possible, including a big spot in the Super Bowl. What more could have been done to make it go number 1? The rest I agree with 100% though. Had Do What U Want or The Edge of Glory gotten the promotion Million Reasons got, both could've easily gone #1. As for Million Reasons, maybe if it were released between 2010-2012.
