3 Gaga Albums This Year

ASIB, LG6 and C3C / Christmas album with Tony - I really think Gaga is coming for blood this year and has been working on 3 albums over the last year.  

You can tell how Gaga is feeling musically by looking at her visually and the looks she is coming out with. Obviously Forbes talked about this possibility in their article - https://www.forbes.com/sites/hughmcintyre/2018/06/05/lady-gaga-might-have-three-albums-in-the-works/ but I think it might be more obvious in pinpointing how she has been visually.

 

ASIB - Confirmed 

--> Obviously we know the ASIB soundtrack is finished and this will be coming around the time of the movie. 

--> #2018RadioIsOurs also links to ASIB - I think they'll be a single which they will push on radio and as we know the album is a mix of pop and country, Gaga has a chance of pleasing both Joanne fans as well as ARTPOP/her older pop moment fans. Plus, country radio and pop radio are always merging. 

 

LG6 - Confirmed it is being made - but release uncertain. 

--> I personally think LG6 is done, or near to completion. I don't think it would make sense to release an album in 2019, as her Vegas performances would have started and  Gaga needs a refresh of her setlist with new songs. Plus, I wouldn't be surprised if Gaga promised Vegas promoters that she would release new music to fuel ticket sales (not that she needs the help) but it would definitely create a buzz that secured the deal. 

--> You'd have to be mad to say Gaga wasn't feeling inspired by pop music and technology during the JWT - she clearly was hyping a comeback to pop music. During this time I think she was making LG6, all the way until after her fibro and edging closer to completion after she returned to health.

 

--> I'd say LG6 is being finished, ready for Vegas, and Gaga is wrapping it up in the studio as she works on other projects, such as...

C3C / Tony Gaga Christmas - Unconfirmed, but very possible 

--> Gaga has been teasing her jazz comeback too, as we saw the other day performing with Tony. It would make so much sense to bring out a new jazz album as well, or perhaps finish the end of the year with something to please her older/jazz fans. Therefore, everyone is happy. 

--> Again, been hyping on instagram with looks over the last couple weeks. I think she's making this album with Tony now and will be the last to be released.

while the thought definitely is interesting, all the tease mean nothing when we know this has happened before in the past only to get shelved. it's not an album until it's an album. only ASIB is confirmed at this point because she can't suddenly change her mind and pull it out

Yes this thread was made right after the Forbes article came out which is like 3 weeks ago... so yeah we been knew

Anything is possible, other artists release more than 1 album in a year. Kanye released two albums a week apart.  The Carters released an album with no warning.

But let's remember The Carters dropped an album in the middle of their tour and did nothing to include new songs on their setlist.

In before Gaga does the same and LG6 is nowhere to be seen near the Vegas residency.

Don't forget she also posted about John Coltrane's music (when Gaga rarely posts about other people's music -- it's almost always in the context of her own music) as evidence for C3C.

It wouldn't have been too bad, really, if the 3 albums had been released during the whole year. But Q2 is coming to an end... It might be too much for the GP BUT I DON'T CARE GIMME ALL THE ALBUMS YOU WANT GAGAAAAAAAA!!!!

I mean, if planned right, I dont think so. C3C wont get a single on the radio so GP wont hear that at all unless it gets a Christmas single. 

ASIB will probably just have the 1 single, and by the looks of it, it will be The Shallow. Let that be the end of summer song, or the beginning of fall song. 

Then the first single of LG6, and let's be honest, we might get 3 singles if lucky, even if the GP LOVES her new songs.

I hope she does not release all 3 albums this year tho, as I would like for LG6 to have her full attention, but I will take what I can get. 

For now, I'm actually wanting to hear the ASIB soundtrack.

TRUE but honestly I believe Gaga NEEDS to bring a new album to really kick off Vegas

I think when she does LG6 she won't do much promo worldwide // too heavy because of fibro, but we'll see
