What is there to like about Fifty Shades of Grey?

I won't say they are good films but they were good enough for me to finish all three of them. I also think Jamie is actually a decent actor, just not in Fifty Shades. If you've seen his work in The Fall, you would like him better.

I've never seen any of the movies, but I've read the first book. I had to legit force myself to finish it because it got so boring to me once they had their first sex scene. After that, I found myself literally skipping pages for actual "storyline" because there wasn't really any after the buildup of them finally getting together happened.

I've heard from a few people the books after it get better, but I'm not going to put myself through that every again. I thought the book was really bad, and I can't imagine the movies are any better.

I didn't read the books, bc I only read books where I have to think about the story (as in thrillers, sci-fi, etc.). And there's no need to think at all when reading these books  .

I didn't watch the movies, bc I only watch movies, well, same as with books  .

I have to admit, that disaster movies are an exception   - nothing is better than an exploding world in a movie

They are horrible omg we watch them with my gf to laugh at them, it's the only way they are tolerable, the sex scenes are the lamest sex scenes I've seen in a movie, and this one is suppose to be about sex so?? the supposed thing that sells the movie is the kinky sex, and all the scenes end up being super vanilla. It truly makes me feel sad for the ladies who think that's hot  

I don't know if it's because I'm a lesbian, but what the hell does that Dornan guy even have when there's way hotter dudes??
