Albums That Are Overrated

The Fame Monster For real, it's a bop but apart from Bad Romance, none of the songs are that spectacular and the concept really isn't made clear in the songs.

I also agree with whoever said 25 by Adele. Why is it so insanely popular and acclaimed? It's literally the most generic collection of average love ballads I've ever heard.

That album was honestly basic (obviously her vocals were good, it was the production that was bad)

 

"Hello" and "Water Under The Bridge" were GREAT...but the rest didn't do much for me. (well maybe Send My Love was okay too)

To those hating on all rap music, I think your opinion is clearly unfair as you actually just don’t enjoy the genre and therefore you’re hardly in a position to criticise albums and call them overrated just because you don’t like the genre

Blackout - It has some good bops but don't understand why it's "critically acclaimed" amongst gay/stan culture when there's nothing really personal, innovative or groundbreaking on the album.

Lemonade - Good messages but sonically/musically its nothing that great.

ANTI - There's like two good songs the rest is a snooze fest.

The reason why blackout is critically acclaimed by stans because (other than madonna's ray of light) it is the one that take the concept of EDM in the forefront. 

Though Ray of Light is more electronica still its a branch of electronic dance music.

I like some songs on reputation like 4 of em namely getaway car, dont blame me, ready for it, i did something bad. other than that I dont like it that album that much.  

Same with 1989 i only like blank space, style, all you have to do was stay and out of the woods. Im also not crazy with taylors lyrics that much its so obvious that she is catering to kids/teenagers and not adults. which is fine. I guess that sells. 

ANTI has good songs in it but overall i dont like it.

21 is more cohesive than 25. trust me it is. soundwise. but eh. 

Blackout has some good bops.

ANTI by Rihanna, it's mostly fillers imo

ARTPOP by gaga, it's overrated in this fanbase, it's simply her worst album

and maaaaybe Ray of light too... but the rest is awful, her 80's albums are unbearable and everything after 2006 it's awful too
