As if the internal trade wars and illegal blocking of federal jurisdiction on the pipeline by BC or Alberta illegally threatening to cut off Oil and Energy to BC wasn't bad enough in escalating a decades old problem of Provinces making decisions that defy the Federal Government's laws...

 

Now the new Premier of Ontario is set to scrap Ontario's Carbon tax.

 

Trudeau set a law that all Provinces must put a price on carbon of at least $10/ton (they can be higher if the Province chooses to)

 

Ontario now Joins Saskatchewan as the second Province refusing to co-operate

They didn't cut funding for past incidents. BC really pissed Trudeau Off and they still never threatened to cut off funding

 

They certainly wouldn't do it to Ontario the most populated Province. That would be Political suicide
