HomoWithFomo 256
I don't like this binary thinking of BEST or WORST... It's 2018 for gods sake, its on a spectrum

Rotten tomatoes, Metacritic, IGN, Walmart, etc will be hacked by Madonna stans and bitter Brazilian ex-fans giving terrible reviews on the movie. ASIB being bad is basicly impossible already Cinema has a long list of pop stars who tried their chance at acting and failed miserably, so no matter the actual quality of her performance, many people will try to take her down just for the sake of it. I already know she's a gifted comedian, and it feels like they've done a good and honest job with this film, so I couldn't care less what haters will have to say. And believe me, they're already planning the way they'll take this movie down - but if it ends up becoming both a critical and public success, which I'm confident it will be, they'll have to shut up not to make fools of themselves. Not to be aiming too high or anything, but many people said Titanic would be a mess and would flop back in the days, and look what happened when it got released... There won't be any in-between with this one.

There won't be any in-between with this one. Cher, Jennifer Hudson and Jared Leto are all singers and yet they've won Oscars before. And who's to say Gaga is not a favourite of the academy, the critics and the public as well. Reception ever since the trailer was released has been very positive of Gaga, so that's a score from the public. Critics are predicting it will be nominated for Oscars. And the Academy has nominated Gaga for an Oscar before (though she didn't win but still they invited her to perform there twice), so I'd say Bradley and Gaga are both appreciated by them. And yeah I think putting the reviews on two extremes seems a little exaggerated.

But yeah, it's true the academy loves her, so that's a good thing.
