Haven't listened to it in full yet but regardless of how it turns out to be, BUY AND STREAM THE BRITISH QUEEN LIKE THERE'S NO TOMORROW. I don't understand pineapples, so I don't eat bananas. I didn't enjoy all the songs on the first listen but I feel like they'll grow on me. This is her most personal album yet though and offers a great insight into how she's been feeling these past couple of years. To be honest, I expected some pop bops but what I got was a really raw and almost mellow kind of album. I mean mellow in the best sense - like kind of relaxing and the kind of album I would listen to on a rainy day just staring out the window. Overall, it's a beautiful album that I don't appreciate as much now, but I have a feeling I will in the future. As I'm writing this, I'm on my second listen and songs are already beginning to grow on me more than they did at first. Stand outs: Come On Then Trigger Bang Family Man (did not think I would like this song as much as I did) Everything to Feel Something Cake Overall, I'm not disappointed. She did not hold anything back, I'm so proud and happy for her!
