Don't you ever think that...

...everything Gaga does at any point is her thinking process of the past era? Like TFM was created by TF Gaga, or ARTPOP worked for BTW Gaga. So like TF Gaga was the dark, iconic, edgy diva and so on....

Its more a desire to shed the skin of the past era so to speak, she wants to keep exploring new things musically and visually

I always wondered that it must be kinda hard for her to plan for the new era but at the same time put her heart and soul into making the current one work. Like, the Monster Ball extended well into Born This Way era so she could have her prosthetic horns in the morning and the yellow wig back in the evening, lol.

It is kinda hard for me to see how BTW Gaga planned ARTPOP Gaga. Those two eras are so different in terms of literally everything.

The real question is how ARTPOP Gaga transitioned into the Cheek to Cheek Gaga/Joanne Gaga.

I always think this too.

It's weird how her persona and visual expression is actually a past feeling/aesthetic when she feels a completely different way

Isn't that what we all do? Make decisions based on out past experieces and come out a little different?

Trying to discard what didn't work or made us unhappy - and maybe hurt those around us - and try to replace it with something better?

Then there's that mysterious thing called inspiration that makes your heart beat a little faster and ideas seem to flow without any effort.

And also the pressure to deliver. That's the hard work part.

probably because after ARTPOP she said that she wanted to quit pop music but gained her strength again by singing
