Contrary to others, I thought seasons 6-10 were quite weak but ever since 11 it's picked up a lot, with season 13 being the best in my opinion, and able to stand unashamedly next to the first 5 seasons. That's why I love binge watching. And don't worry, I wouldn't call Supernatural too serious anymore. There is plenty of humour in more recent seasons.
