FX has shipped its massive 2018 Emmy FYC mailer to the TV academy membership that includes “American Horror Story: Cult” plus 10 other original programs. The bee-themed “AHS: Cult” package contains three episodes of the Best Limited Series contender on one DVD: “Election Night,” “11/9” and “Charles (Manson) in Charge.” The Emmy booklet also specifically highlights Sarah Paulson for Best Limited Series/Movie Actress, Evan Peters for Best Limited Series/Movie Actor and these six supporting players: Alison Pill, Billie Lourd, Adina Porter, Leslie Grossman, Billy Eichner and Cheyenne Jackson.

The first episode of “AHS: Cult,” titled “Election Night,” has been submitted for Best Limited Series Writing for showrunners Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk. These three episodes contend for Best Limited Series Directing: Bradley Buecker‘s “Election Night,” Angela Bassett‘s “Drink the Kool-Aid” and Jennifer Lynch‘s “Great Again.”

I think Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters both deserve a nomination but obviously they are going to be overshadowed by the cast of ACS: Versace. Let's hope Cult gets some nominations for their writing and directing efforts. AHS deserves it. Cult is one of the best seasons in AHS.

It's funny how critically acclaimed shows like Legion (92% RT score) don't get Emmy chances at all when AHS: Cult does, I mean it's not nominated but the Emmys DO pay attention to AHS every year. It just proves how influential and popular this series is. I guess it's why Ryan and FX keep doing it.

Maybe because AHS is quality except season 4 and 5 :ladyhaha:

Inside, we are really made the same. 🕊

I mean, it's not bad. Just boring :laughga: If it weren't for Gaga, it would have a fighting chance in the worst season of AHS :lolga:

What I've seen so far, Sara Paulson's acting is great as always, and so is Evan Peter's, though I dislike his character.

Evan was absolutely incredible in Cult, it was definitely an Emmy-worthy performance.

Feud and ACS: Versace are just as gay and better. AHS is just overrated

I loved it from the beginning til the end. I loved the actors, the story line behind every character, and Denis O'Hare, Sarah Paulson, Gaga, Evan Peters and Finn Wittrock were really good. I also liked how the Countess went from being coldblooded to emotional and vulnerable. Her story arc with Finn Wittrock and Evan Peters really made her shine.
