I agree with you that a witch hunt mentality is awful and I believe it leads nowhere, but she literally wrote "you don't have to educate me"  

The bigger problem here is not that she made a mistake, is that she still thought it was funny, and when she was called out about it, her response wasn't to listen and sincerely apologize, but to say she knows about sexual abuse and that she doesn't need to be educated on the subject 

Also, even if her friend didn't feel harassed, if you are doing a prank and you have to wait for the person's reaction to know if it is legal or not, then the prank shouldn't be done... And in the current political and social climate, she shouldn't still find the situation funny. 

It disgusts me seeing people attacking her and body shaming her because of this situation, but I still think she should be called out (respectfully) for her "prank", and I think her response to being called out was wrong.

She deserves the unfollow. Its like a cyber f*ck you. I’m sure she got a real interaction with Xtina that was pleasant too as she is not one to ever mince words.

It's more to not wanting toxic stuff in your timeline imho. It is tiring to read that kind of stuffs. If someone just not enjoying someone else's tweets anymore, why is it wrong to unfollow them? Actually I considered that very mature than to keep following someone for the sake of friendship or whatever even when we don't really want to anymore.

It just proves to us that Christina has no loyalty though, and I personally wouldn't be friends with someone like her, who has no loyalty at all. She should have contacted Demi and expressed her thoughts instead of unfollowing her. It's not mature to me. Cutting off relationships is not mature. Especially when the other friend has shown you the courtesy of singing with you.
