I don't wanna get cocky and stuff, but I feel like if ASIB actually opens with $30M first 3 days when it's out AND the music is seriously catchy on first listen, I think people will want to get out and buy/stream the soundtrack. The issue is that people might not even know about a soundtrack or even care that much for it.

Now... if Warner's would have CDs out to buy when you buy tickets also that would legit be amazing but I highly doubt they would do that cause 1) it's our delusional dreams and 2) they dont care for the success of the soundtrack as much as they care for the actual movie.

Dont be that nervous about the soundtrack. After all, its a "musical" movie, so people will know about it. If they purchase it on their own, that depends on how good the songs actually are. If they are great (I hope so) the music will speak for itself. Just like The Greatest Showman...

I am agreeing with you but the soundtrack is also distributed by Interscope. Aren't they interested in a #1?!

A little CD promo before the movie starts and right before the credits should do the trick

guys, people are going to listen to the soundtrack after they see the movie!!! I mean, if they like the songs they're going to listen to them because its a musical!! People love to watch musicals because they love music(obviously lol). When I watched the greatest showman I went home and listened to the whole soundtrack and I didn't even like the movie that much .

 

how can some of you say ''people won't care about the soundtrack'' when the whole film is based on the MUSIC and the soundtrack. The GP knows how to find music lol, they'll go on Spotify and listen to ASIB after they watch the movie

Thisss so much. TGS was an ok movie but the music is amazing!
