Those categories will not be removed from the telecast; instead, "the winning moments will then be edited and aired later in the broadcast." - Hollywood Reporter Apparently they will still air the categories, it's just that they will present them during commercial breaks and air the winning moments later. But how does this cut down the duration of the ceremony? It might be shorter because you don't have to go through the nominees and read out the names, but still it doesn't reduce much of the duration, does it?
