I am not worried about Oscars changing things up. I mean, if Gaga if the winner of something, they will TOTALLY air that category

I'm sure they will air Best Actress. I just hope they won't take away Best Original Song.

Of lot of tickets left with codes

I guess people don't care about buying tickets with a code and they're waiting for the general sales

Im sure they will air it. I mean, if they have performers they HAVE to air it :vegas:

Anyway someone said that these changes are for 2020... so, we are safe

I think that is a platinum ticket. I assume it's on the upper balcony.

For 'normal tickets', I got it for 344 USD in the higher orchestra (below the balcony).

They explain that this will be achieved partly by "present[ing] select categories live, in the Dolby Theatre, during commercial breaks (categories to be determined)." Those categories will not be removed from the telecast; instead, "the winning moments will then be edited and aired later in the broadcast." - Hollywood Reporter

Apparently they will still air the categories, it's just that they will present them during commercial breaks and air the winning moments later.

But how does this cut down the duration of the ceremony? It might be shorter because you don't have to go through the nominees and read out the names, but still it doesn't reduce much of the duration, does it?
