With the release of ASIB and after that LG6 (most probably) I think Gaga will be very fine. I'm actually excited to see how good she will do this time. If she decides to do something radio friendly, she'll have success. She still has a lot of potential to have great hits, she's a very big name, she just needs to try.

As for her Youtube videos not having great views, it's very simple. When you release only 2 music videos from 2012 - 2016 (which just one of them was a hit) you'll expect to not have the same views you once had.

This. Katy built traction and anticipation for her music video releases because she consistently released visuals even for songs that might have underperformed / flopped. She's also served some pretty solid eye candy in her videography. The masses could always expect to be visually satisfied (for the most part).

One thing I'm glad Gaga picked up with the Joanne era was releasing videos even for non-singles. She served 4 visuals for the album. Sure they weren't big hits and sure some of them wern't my cup of tea but at least we got 4 music videos for this era which I think gave us all a collective sigh of relief because many were worried we'd somehow have few music videos because of the unfortunate events that happened during the AP era. 

Now that we all know we can expect 4 music videos per era again maybe things will pick up some more especially if her next videos are visually stimulating and if the songs are hits.

Yeah I love that she released 4 videos. Even if I dislike half of them but still. I dont know if we can expect 4 per era though. Maybe 3. The Joanne video was like a gift I think. Im still mad that they didnt shot a new DWUW video. The song was a hit. Such a missed oportunity.

Yeah maybe 4 would be a lot to ask. Like you said Joanne Piano MV was more like a surprise last minute gift I think. 

omg sis don't get me started on that subject  I could write an essay on all the songs I wish had music videos and how DWUW could of slayed with an edited version of the original mv (like taking off the cringy R. Kelly hospital scene). They could of just used the newspaper scenes and the gym working out scenes and it would of been stunning tbh

Watching Joanne era videos I was like:

at least for Joanne video my reaction was 'oh it's cute'

 

anyway it's been a few years I'm always like for most of the things she's doing

 

like I really love the music, but still I feel bored

The ASIB trailer has been one of the most exciting things that has happened to the fanbase lately visual-wise. I’m still a little bit addicted to it
