If a ticket is 20$ it means 1.5million people

Attendance + buzz + promo on TV + promo on streaming services/itunes, we're guaranteed a couple of songs in the top 20 of iTunes tbh, even top 10.

The average price for a movie ticket in the US in 2017 was $8.97, so if $30 million holds, that's more like 3.3 million people.

Carrie Underwood’s first album for Capitol Nashville should land at #1 on our next Top 50 chart. Here’s what the latest tea leaves are telling us.

Carrie Underwood (Capitol Nashville) 220-230k total activity, 210-220k album
6BLACK (LVRN/Interscope) 60-70k, 17-20k
Tony Bennett & Diana Krall (Verve/Columbia) 25-28k, 24-27k
Tori Kelly (Capitol) 15-18k, 12-15k
Willie Nelson (Legacy) 9-10k, 8-9k

What's this top 10 you're talking about?

Shallow is topping iKoons and that's that on that.

Thats a really hard thing to calculate though

There are theaters here with $20 tickets, $15 tickets, $12, and even $6 tickets on some days.

Are you thinking of the money having to be split between the distributor and the theater? That's accurate, but not really relevant to our tracking purposes. 'Cuz I am pretty sure the gross # includes every dollar spent on tickets.
