Gaga "screaming" in PI (it's not really screaming, she's using vocals) is far away from being unpleasant, i heard some people calling this song "screamo" that's actually a genre that I'm hating with a passion, I usually hate screamings in songs but what she does in PI is being dynamic.

You’re used to more traditional pop songs, thats why you’re not used to PI structure and Gaga’s unleashing her rage while singing and not doing “pretty singing”.

Perfect Illusion relates more to classics from the late 70s/early 80s like Bonnie Tyler’s  rather than your usual contemporary Shawn Mendes radio-ready song.

I can like non traditional pop songs, PI simply isn’t my cup of tea.

It’s a general statement, no need to get defensive, when people tell in this forum why they didn’t like Perfect Illusion they always mention her “screaming” (which technically she’s not) and being too repetitive, and it’s funny to me because those are two of the main reasons why the song is so good and a standout in her discography.
