C2C II is a good thing hennies!

Hey guys! Just wanted to say that doing C2C part II is going to be a good thing. As many have pointed out Tony is pushing 92 and though I do not like saying stuff like this but he is absolutly in the final phase of his life so why not honor him and record duets with him again? I won't be one of those members who completly lashes out at any ppl who are dissapointed or sad about C2C II because I can understand how you'd be disapointed but just understand that the release of C2C II isn't going to delay anything. If LG6 will be released mid 2019 or w/e it's because it was probably planned to be released around that time anyway. The final months of 2018 will mostly be focused around ASIB (not too much because soundtracks usually only have like 1 single now a days but you know what I mean) and C2C II for the holidays. I am obviously very impatient as well and the idea of like 99% not getting anything LG6 related in 2018 is a little annoying but it's ok. In fact if you really hate Jazz or the country/rock pop music that is allegedly going to make up the majority of the ASIB soundtrack then just skips those eras out! You do not need to be 100% blindly loyal. Just tune in, check if you like anything in there...if you do that's awesome but if you don't it's also ok! Just wait until she releases something you like. There are plenty of other artists out in the sea to keep you busy until Gaga releases something more palatable for you. Also though I do not see C2C II having the same success C2C had I do think it will have good response as well and could help push C2C to platinum because it will most likely boost the 1st collab album on the sales charts a bit!

Any ways theses are my thoughts on this matter and I just wanted to vocalize them and share them with you guys because I'm sure many feel this way! Plz also this is just a opinion piece and I am not trying to debate. Just want to share my thoughts with you guys and what not! Thank you!

IF they record it now, doesnt mean it will be released immediatly. could be in winter, could be even a christmas thing.

what if they come up with vegas gaga x bennett and not gaga solo?

Exactly. As I mentioned it is most likely for the holiday season just like their first duet album.

I mean yeah, we need to appreciate our elders while we can because they are not going to be around forever. I'm hoping this is an album and not a single for Tony's album. Considering the numerous sessions you would think it's an album. 

The C2C era contained some of her best, and most beautiful, vocal performances. I still probably watch more C2C performances than I do for any other era tbh so I'm excited. Not only do we get more great music and more great performances but I think it's also great for her legacy... It really frames her relationship with an icon like Tony as less of a one album 'stunt' and more of a truly genuine, important professional and personal relationship based on mutual respect. One that spanned multiple projects.

When people talk about Tony's long, respected career they will talk about his later working relationship with Lady Gaga. When we look over Gaga's career in the future, her work with Tony Bennett will be a memorable, respected and nostalgic part of her history.

She never guaranteed any release though. She only said 'there was a strong likelihood' that she was going to release Act II. It's not a promise.

I'm here for another jazz album! Her vocals are always impressive in jazz and I can't wait for another body of work made up of strong vocals and nothing but talent.

The A Star Is Born soundtrack probably won't make it to the Grammy deadline, since it will be released after or in October, therefore it's a good idea to release a jazz album, perhaps in September so that she gets to attend the Grammys next year and possibly win her 7th Grammy.
