Some fans are mad 'cause they wants her to do the same thing. Dark pop albums. But she's human, she needs to grow up. 

 

For my part I miss one thing about oldga, her strength and her fierce about being the biggest star. Her music videos has the same theme since MTN. She was falling down, taking care of herself and then she was rising like a phoenix to take her revenge about something. 

I felt happy when I saw Joanne's music video 'cause this video hasn't this theme and it's cool to see it. 

I hope now she's fine and happy.

Absolutely not. You can’t blame someone’s fans for the artist being less successful. Fans can only do so much.

At the end of the day the GP decides if they like a song/album, which ultimately makes it a success.

Gaga's not successful because the fans hinder her success by not buying her projects. For a while,Gaga's sales were a force to be reckoned with,but starting with ARTPOP her sales have slowed down. I've bought both ARTPOP and Joanne at the beginning of their release cycles to support her and I do genuinely love the music of those two albums (my parents bought me Cheek to Cheek for Christmas so it technically counts as a sale). Honestly even if Gaga one day put out an album I didn't really enjoy,I'd still buy it to support her because I love her so much. Just my two cents,don't shoot the messenger.

I hope LG6 brings Gaga fans back together and we can go back to a happier time before the chaos with her hip injury.

1. „Gaga fans are the reason why she isn’t successful“. Tell me where she would be if we where not here? 

2. You speak of that MANY terrible threads and comments. Are we on the same website? I mean sure I see a mean comment for time to time, but not many!

3. People also have opinions. And I don’t think that even if you are a Fan you HAVE to buy an album. This is a thing wich gets on my nerves every time. I am an Hardcore stan, that’s why I buy everything. But for me it’s normal that a normal Fan don’t buy everything she does. We are still humans with free choices. If you don’t like something you don’t buy it. 

4. You can not come for people wich want the old Gaga back. It’s totally normal. Many of this fans came in this fanbase for this music! I can understand that people want a DarkGa back.

5. Her sales went down because the GP lose interest in her since Judas! You should now that this was controversial for the GP. You can’t blame the fans.

6. Also in every Gaga Poll (on GGD, Twitter, etc...)about the best album I see ARTPOP almost on the top or really high in the ranking.

7.Finally I wanna speak about C2C. You have to understand that this album was REALLY different from the others. You can’t expect from a POP fanbase to become a JAZZ fanbase. Like?! Okay peoole where a bit mean back then but I kind of can understand this

To give the Fans the fault that Gaga isn’t that successfull anymore (wich btw, is not true in my eyes btw) is not true.

And speaking of problems on this website. I think one of those problems is people wanting her to be extremely successful, but honestly, couldn’t we care less? You said you love her music and her person, and I believe you that. But then forget her succes

Gaga is not gonna be successful next era. Success = urban music now, remember? Gaga is too white for that. 

and no, the anecdote of NTLTC will not be brought up bc Ari has a lot of tweenage fans, and most people who became fans during the end of peak (me) are busy adulting, and won't make her songs rise

The Edge of Glory was her last hit. Applause was huge but people were also mocking her so I wouldn't call it a net win. 

And the accounts that do twitter polls on Gaga albums are fan-centric. ARTPOP is way overrated in this fanbase. The GP never sees them, and if there was one, they'd obviously vote for The Fame, bc they obviously voted with their wallets that it's her best work.

Yes that’s what I said. You know that this thread is about the Fabs and not the GP. The person who made that thread said that ARTPOP wasn’t well recieved by the fans. And that’s not true, that’s why I was speaking about the twitter polls

I agree with what you said with the fanbase but to be real it's not the biggest reason why she isn't as sucessful anymore. The main reason is just that she hasn't released that many singles in recent years and also the way to make hits these days have changed since 2010. Streaming is much more important then let's say peforming your song at an award show and all her singles except the cure have been badly promoted on streaming platforms. 

Still, saying she isn't sucessful is a reach. She had a #1 album that is one of the most sold female albums in recent years. It also spawned a really big hit for her in the states with million reasons and it's the most or one of the most sold female singles since 2016. Also all the impact the superbowl had, sold out stadium dates etc shows that she is still very sucessful. She isn't just on top of the pop charts anymore which is fine. She is still one of the top 10 most sucessful females out there today and one of the most known. If only they start to promote her singles diffrently (more push on streaming and also radio) she could easily start charting better again.

I think she knew what she was doing when she took Joanne out. She knew that many of her fans would leave the fanbase. From BTW none of his albums are for his fans. She took the risk and rebuilt her image in front of the GP, but she left out many LGBT fans with this new image. But is this wrong? No, it is not. LG has his projects, LG has his ideas, LG has his eras, LG has his career. Not us! Fans follow LG, buy or not buy their projects, and that is also correct. We all believe that fans + LG make up the era. But that's not true. She is a POP Star. Not our friend. And, beyond that the size of this fanbase was redrawn, LG continues to be successful, with or without the LM. Why do I say this? Who put MR in 4th place on Billboard hot 100? The GP after the SB, not his fans.
