The Louvre 3,423
So I just watched the documentary "Amy", which came out in 2015, for the first time and wow. I'm completely speechless. I genuinely cried watching it, which is something I never do. Especially the parts about the media taking low shots at her, people laughing about her issues, her drug addiction, her boulimia. It kinda reminded me of Lady Di's issues with the media as as well. How toxic they can be in taking people down, hurting them unimaginably in the proces. I got mad at the media, her dad, Blake, the person who carried her drunk out of her house to Belgrade, everyone basically. Such a heartbeaking experience. It also made me appreciate Amy's music all over again, 'cause I hadn't listened to her in such a long time. Stream talent: It's said the map of the world is on you. The moon gravitates around you. The seasons escape you.
Chuckles 2,549
Amy is TALENT and she was unique, down-to-earth, simple, and completely misunderstood by the media. Good that we have both gems of albums for her to live forever.

rumours 45,521
I also own the soundtrack. It’s really great if you listen to it in its entirety. Highly suggest (especially since you’ve already seen the documentary)!
Bloodyjack 794
It was a very well made, well directed documentary that brought a lot of home truths to light. I was really sickened by the part with the comedians making jokes out of her drug addiction and bulemia when he called her a horse...
sipthistea 21,099
She was such a talent. I don't what is it with us human beings that we don't value people until we lose them. She became a legend right after she died, but before that she was just "the drug addict"
