Those are her friends (or were at this point :stalkga: since the time took away all her fair-weather-friends) and it aligns with her demographic if their demographic is mainly young teenage girls. Which is way more genuine to me than putting big names of people she probably doesnt even talk to in the video just for the sake of name-dropping. Not like it helped the song in any way... I don't think I have to go into how one of the songs is a #1 which is 5x Platinum and the other has a peak of #85 and no certification if we're already gonna throw random comparisons around. And thanks I don't need a madonna history lesson, I know she's legendary and has been relevant for a looooong time before you wanna school me on that. We're just talking about these 2 songs since you brought it up.

Madonna and Taylor even performed together and Madonna complimented her

Also thanks for ignoring the list of collaborators or guest performers at her 1989 tour which featured plenty of artists that are 30+ years old, which are all artists she loves and respects https://www.billboard.com/photos/6634335/taylor-swift-1989-tour-guests

I just don't see your point, what's wrong with including your friends in your work? Also it's pretty common to have friends your age I would say lol

I see this a lot that people just try to find the most random stuff to criticize taylor for it's really ridiculous..

Actually let's not assume Madonna doesn't talk to the people who appeared in Bitch, I'm Madonna. I'm sure they're friends in some way? Otherwise, Madonna wouldn't ask them to appear in the video and they wouldn't have agreed.

Anyway, that is exactly the point! Taylor's target demographic is young teenage girls and it seems cringy to people of other demographic that her songs are mostly love and break-up anthems that older people can't seem to enjoy. I mean if you attend one of Taylor's shows you'll be surrounded by young girls and it's really the opposite of diversity. Beyonce and Gaga's shows on the other hand are surrounded by all kinds of people, male and female of all kinds of age. I mean sure Beyonce does appeal to mainly black people whereas Gaga appeals to gay people, but what I was trying to point out is the maturity of their image. Taylor seems to appeal to kids and young girls, don't get me wrong I love some of her songs but if I were her fan I wish she would collaborate and bring up people of all kinds of background, preferably established artists like Katy Perry, Justin Timberlake and Lady Gaga rather than young artists like Shawn Mendes, Camila Cabello and Charli XCX. It's one of the reasons why some people can't stand Justin Bieber or One Direction's fans, which are predominantly young females as well.
