So personal and yet so universal.

I came to say these two. Couldn’t finish A Crow Looked At Me tbh, it was too devastating and depressing for me, I cried every single tear in my body during the first three songs and then I kind of just zoned out. As for Melodrama, my 2nd favorite album ever, you can tell every single lyric in the album was taken straight from Lorde’s relationship and it truly is an experience.

Another one I would add is Blonde by Frank Ocean, my #1 album ever. Although most of Frank’s thoughts are hidden under very well thought-out metaphors, you can still feel his feelings towards his past relationships. It’s not as direct as Melodrama, but the feeling is still there.

What do you think? What are the most personal albums ever? I feel like Madge's Like a Prayer is the most personal album ever with songs like Promise to Try, Oh Father, Keep It Together, Till Death Do Us Part. She even dedicated the album to her late mother who taught her how to pray.

YAAAAAAS.  Possibly the most personal album ever for a female pop artist. (My own all-time favorite album.  )

Ikr, it's so hard to get through, like there is barely a mood you can be in that is fitting to listen to it. The most crushing thing I have ever listened to.

I get so lonely, I forget what I'm worth
We get so lonely, we pretend that this works
I'm so ashamed of myself think I need therapy-y-y-y
