Although it was rap legends, it wasn’t what a pop-fanbase wanted. They probably would have liked to see rappers like Nicki Minaj, Lil’ Kim, and (yes, even) Azealia Banks (she has a bad attitude but she’s wicked talented and has a strong LGBT following) Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

I think another female rapper like Nicki Minaj would've done a better than job than either Twista or TooShort. I mean Nicki and Gaga are both pop superstars after all, it would have been more enjoyable for pop fans for sure. Look at how Side to Side and Feeling Myself both featuring Nicki became huge hits.
