I used to think I was a hard left liberal until I hear stories like this, what a joke. We should only be worrying if something actively promotes hate/bias towards something, not these trivial SJW witch hunts.

she had no ill intentions with the song, the arts will die if we continue this "cancelling" culture on people who aren't at least 99% gay/POC but wish to explore and express all sorts of themes

It probably mostly hurt women who love women bc its sort of like "oh i can go out, drink, and wear this costume of bicuriosity and then go home after the nights over and return to my normal self the next day" whereas many girls faced a lot of adversity in their life for their sexuality that is not a choice for them. I can def see how that could feel very invalidating to see these mega stars singing bout it like its nbd when a girl might have ptsd, anxiety, depression, etc. all bc of her hardships faced growing up where all she rly wanted to do was kiss gurls gurls gurls

but anyway... it's just another "i kissed a girl" song really. mildly offensive basic pop song!! yasss. i still love charli && cardi.

totally see your point with that, i mean if a guy sang a song about that i personally wouldn't of been offended but like i said some people take things to heart but i don't see that being her intention with the song!

i think she shouldn't even have responded to those accusations, since there is nothing wrong with her lyrics considering it is HER experience

girl it isn't about you... "well i wasn't offended so who cares!" was what plenty of people said about using the f word that has to do with gay people..

uh i wasn't trying to make it about "ME" just saying songs like this shouldn't be taken seriously to the point of offending people

This x 1000 like omg. I wish everyone could understand.

Stan twitter brings out really funny memes and 'speak'(a tragedy we stan, legend!, etc) but their 'cancelling' campaigns have gone too far. I've had it!
