Did lemonade flop and if so why

I wouldn’t say so at all. It wasn’t a mega mover seller, but no one makes money from albums anymore. Albums are there to sell tour dates and merch which Lemonade did in spades. So by that standard, it was incredibly successful. Its success or failure largely depends on where you’re standing.

I don’t think so at all  It sold well (the album itself), it garnered a lot of critical acclaim, and it spawned a hugely successful tour

I bought it right away off iTunes. It was only streamable without buying thru tidal
