Well, you shouldn’t look at it that way. There was a time when they released albums every 1,5 year, this one had a 5 year gap from AM. They are a completely different band now, the album is so Eagles and Bowie... Idk, you might not like it but it’s the best thing they could do after AM. Alternative bands aren’t meant to be hitmakers caugh Imagine Dragon caugh. 

This is just what to expect from an artist, to take risks and explore different waters. That’s just my opinion though.

Why though? This is a leak thread, completely destroying streams and sales, mine was posted the day it was released. I don’t think they should be merged and I don’t really want my thread to be under the “Leaked” title.

I really enjoyed it as an album, but not as an Arctic Monkeys album? Like it was nice music I just expected slightly more from the Arctic Monkeys.  There weren't any 'Do I Wanna Know?'s in the album... Just too slow for them in my opinion.  However, once I stop thinking of it as an Arctic Monkeys album and another indie album I can enjoy this very much.

I really like it (American Sports takes me to another dimension, literally) but I feel like it's an Alex Turner solo album. Not the charged-up songs I'd expect from Arctic Monkeys but they are very good!

Ok, so I’ve just been to a club where in one of the rooms they did a listening party for the new album and hearing the songs through the speakers and everyone singing along really make the album even better for me, brought the tracks alive more, was a very cool experience
