they're doing adlibs. but according to his previous work + Saturday (another track he debuted on SNL), i still think he'll have more solo work coming out later.

But he's collaborated with Chance and given a BIG shoutout to Migos so who knows

I'm BEYOND excited.

omg maybe it's for cruel summer??? or they only use G.O.O.D. artists on it?

Yeah summer is gonna by Kanye's tbh :D

edit: sorry I'm mixing Kanye and Childish atm. So much new music haha.

Gaga fans, pop stans in general, are so ****ing predictable and hypocritical. Just because of one shady thing Childish Gambino said about Gaga, yall are invalidating an amazing video. Yall are stupid... The video is amazing, don't like the song at all though.

All of this, lmao.

OT: The video was pretty boring. Just the same old message about racial inequality, nothing new being said here. When the majority of the US and the millennial generation has this view. Pretty tired at this point imo.

Maybe they still have the same old message because nothing has changed?

I’m actually nice.

Lol okay :rip: Maybe nothing has changed because most of the stuff you're seeing in the news and social media isn't as common as they make it out to be. It's just the popular thing now to report on it.
I, as a mixed gay person still have yet to face this systematic racism people go on about.
Since I've been told no matter what you WILL be oppressed by the system if you are black...so where is this oppression for me?
I have yet to go in public and be discriminated on the daily about my identity.
Sorry but for me stuff like this nowadays is a turn off because I personally feel it's not really needed.
Maybe anytime before 1970, yes.
Nowadays? Eh, not really.

But you are mixed race. Not black. I’m descended of slaves from the Caribbean. I haven’t gone through any type of oppression in the US (I was stop and frisk once tho) perhaps because unlike African Americans, I have spanish last names. I’m also very light skin and speak Spanish. Just because I haven’t been through anything doesn’t mean others haven’t. And funny how you said maybe before 1970 when in 1982 Ronald Reagan declared a “war on drugs.” Drug offenders faced lifetime consequences for minor infractions, yet the focus on tough sentences for crack and not powder cocaine (usually use by white folks) meant the people going to prison were largely black and brown. Nowadays you have black folks going to prison and facing larger sentences for the use of Pot, while white people smoke even more and face less sentences. Come on now..

I’m actually nice.

I am black. I am mixed with black and white so I have every reason to say something on this sorry. Also I had a feeling you’d think I’m saying that no one else has been through some sort of oppression, that’d be stupid of me to think so I wasn’t saying that at all. I just read on the news that a white women is getting a life sentence for killing her husband...but what social media and people say nowadays something like that wouldn’t happen because of white privilege...hmm.   I also think it’s interesting how you act like most people in jail are in there because of their race. I’m sure there are plenty that have been falsely accused and wronged because of their race, but I personally don’t believe it’s as common as Twitter and the rest of social media make it out to be. The majority of people in prison are black and that’s just how it is...and I’m sorry but I really don’t think most black people are in jail because they’re black I think they’re in jail for committing crimes...just like all the other races committing crimes and ending up in jail. You barely used a good example for your disagreement. You used the drug scenario...yeah people shouldn’t be arrested for weed nowadays because of all the stuff known about it. But I don’t really think that’s a good argument.

Well - just because you don’t experience it doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen to others? :laughga: I mean look at sociological research and not just anecdotal stories.

Lol that’s not what I’m saying at all. Obviously I’m not that stupid to think that. :toofunny: Of course there’s people who get discrimnated against, duh. What I’m saying is I’ve been told in real life, and on social media several times that if you are black or black passing, you will be systematically oppressed. No matter who you are if you’re black you will be oppressed, that’s what I’ve been told multiple times. My question is if that’s true why haven’t I faced this oppression and I’m 19 years old, mixed with black and white, and gay?...

Interesting how you just (once again) skipped that a sitting president in 1982 decided to target black folks in inner cities for the use of crack but didn’t do anything about whites doing cocaine. Arrest rates for marijuana possession are four times as high for black Americans as for white. Black men spend an average of 20 percent longer behind bars in federal prisons than their white peers for the same crimes. You should read about for Profit-Prisons. Your ignorance further proves why African Americans dislike mixed race people. And once again, you are not black. You are mixed. That’s a fact.

Lol...and you saying this doesn’t surprise at all. I’ve been called a “coon”, “Uncle Tom”, etc. because I just so happen to not agree with the same things as them. We’re never gonna get anywhere if you shame people who have the same color in them. Thanks for trying to make me believe we’re in the 1960s still. I appreciate the effort tho. Also thanks for acting like me being mixed is a bad thing and that has anything to do with anything. I’m still part black so I will speak on this.

Nobody is making you believe a thing. Believe whatever you want to believe Kanye. It just bothers me that we have ignorant folks like you talking trash about a topic you seem to know nothing about. Nothing about Systematic racism nor for Profit-Prisons. You should probably read about that. Nobody say that being mixed race is a bad thing. I’m also (if you see my family) consider mixed by some people. You just keep comparing yourself to black folks when you are not black. I just don’t get why is it hard for you to understand that. And again, you keep telling yourself that everything ended in the 60’s.

I’m actually nice.

Go off honey you’re giving me more examples of why I can’t take people like you seriously. Keep going lmao. What I don’t get what’s so hard to understand that everything isn’t as bad as you think it is. Also I’m comparing myself to black people because I am black. Sorry honey but my name is Tyrese, a predominantly black name. I am mixed with black and white. I don’t know why you a non-black person and anyone else for that matter seems to wanna be some sort of savior for the black community, and act as if you know the struggle of black people at this point in time. Also if you read my previous posts obviously discrimination happens but acting like we’re living in a time where if you’re black you can barely do anything is such bullshit. If you couldn’t be successful as a black person we wouldn’t have had a Black president for 8 years, Beyoncé wouldn’t be as big as she is, there’d be no black corporations. I’m being realistic here, I don’t want to be seen as a victim because of my race. Because I’m not, I’d rather admit that then push the false narrative being pushed nowadays.

But how does this relate to the video being “dated” and not relevant because YOU haven’t felt discriminated BUT others (on a larger scale) have? 🧐
