PunkTheFunk 124,496
Dua, Camilla, Alessia -- slide over girls, because I think I've just found the pop girl who will potentially eat all your wigs for breakfast Her name is Kara Marni: she's 19 (or 20?) years old, from London, England, and I came across her on YouTube last night. And I have a really good feeling that she's going to make it big in pop music very soon. She has a new song out called "Curve" and I encourage you all to give it a listen The girl can serve vocals lewks, and flexibility Stream it once, stream it twice, stream it all night long! Pop Music 20,540
I'm sorry I really wanted to be wowed but the song is awful . But I do like her voice. If she could make some more dance pop bops than maybe she would be popular but currently she sounds like she is only coming for lana and charli's wig Pop Music and Lady Gaga forever! Luxe Ford 3,481
I've heard about her before. Great voice, but not quite up my straße. But I've been staring at that GIF for several minutes now. Riveting! Edit: this was the one I heard. Slick and classy... What happens in Luxe Ford stays in Luxe Ford

culturalbaptism 2,922
Ariana Grande. She's the only new pop girl on the rise. It's a weird time in pop music. I just can't see another Lady Gaga coming out to shake things up. It's really sad but The Fame was the last impactful debut we have. None of these girls has it. I feel like Camila Cabello is already over. She was a one hit wonder. Let's be real. Judas is coming, let the cultural baptism begin.

I don't really know, I'm quite young to know those times, but if Madonna was the last thing at her time Lady Gaga appeared when Donna was in her 40 or 50? So I guess we should expect the same. Another big thing when Gaga's in her 50 or so.
YeehawKylie 7,817
I don't see her making it big in pop. Does this girl even want that? I don't think she's bad at all, I just don't think what she's put out there is mainstream enough to make it big in pop.

Another big thing when Gaga's in her 50 or so. Not really. We had so many impactful debuts in the 1990s and 2000s. I feel like the standards are lower than ever. No one is standing out. There was no Lady Gaga before Lady Gaga because she is unique in her own way. She came out in a time where the music industry needed desperately to bring disco and artistry back. She was highly influenced by Madonna, of course. I don't think it has anything to do with age but timing. We need the right girl when this urban era finally ends. Judas is coming, let the cultural baptism begin.
