United Apologizes For Seemingly 'Drunk or Stoned' Flight Attendant

A United Airlines flight attendant was reportedly suspended after she exhibited erratic behavior on a flight from Denver to Williston, N.D.

Passenger Erika Gorman tweeted about the incident, saying the flight attendant was so out of control that she went to the cockpit to report her behavior to the plane's pilot.

Gorman alleges that the flight attendant was drunk.

"Drunk and disorderly—belligerent flight attendant. Boarding announcements were 'if your seatbelt isn't tight, you f^*%ed up," Gorman said in a tweet to the airline.

United said in a statement to the Daily News it was "aware of a concerning incident involving a flight attendant. As a gesture of goodwill, we have compensated all customers aboard the flight and we apologize for any inconvenience or distress this may have caused."

"The safety of our customers and crew aboard all United and Trans States flights is a top priority," United said in the statement.

What a shame  Flight Attendants are a vital part of safety if anything were to happen in the aircraft or if an evacuation happened to be necessary. Flight attendant training is quite rigorous, and I am honestly surprised someone who has gone through FA training would be caught drunk or stoned while on their duty period.

She will most definitely be tested for drugs / alcohol and if a positive result comes back, I am sure she would be let go. 

I’m hoping that her behavior was caused by a bad reaction to a new medication and not due to drugs / alcohol.

Also, I know it’s a United branded plane, but this isn’t a United Airlines flight attendant. This flight was operated by Trans States Airlines, a regional carrier that also operates flights for American Airlines.

United is such a mess. Last time I heard about them, a dog died in one of their planes.

Who still flies with this compagny ? Is it cheap (real question because I have no idea)
