This is so immature of her. I expected better. Guess she’s only tolerant of people with the same opinion as her.

Nnnn you sound like those nuts who get upset at liberals for being intolerant of Nazis and White Supremecists :ladyhaha::toofunny:

Sorry as a Human Rights Activist, I won't do that. My dignity, my moral, my ideology is more powerful than money. Not performing there also was a choice to make a difference. It's more like she got the money, in a subtle way she performed a peace song. Wah Wah! clap clap! Conservatives and liberals are happy now!

I don't think you understood the point of that quote, at all. So I don't think you'll understand any further point I make. So we will have to agree to disagree.  :)

Then enlighten me :green:

not attending would NOT have made a difference at all and i really dont think avoiding a society because of the actions of their leaders is fair at all. her performance was a light in a place of darkness that im more than sure helped a kid want to fight for their freedoms or want to live another day.. thats the power of songs like Imagine. im sorry to sound harsh but money is a huge party of our society and u need to come to terms that it is a powerful tool. if money is such an issue for u in this scenario then just say you would have rather seen her perform for free 🤷🏻‍♂️

That’s nice, and Lady Gaga is also a human rights activist, and she’s using her talent, platform, fame, and status to perform something as a way of reaching out to people. Music and art in general has a way of bringing people together. She understands this, and maybe someday you will too.

That's very sad, right? A third world country's underprivileged, sexually oppressed, struggling guy doesn't understand. What a pathetic shame!

Well, they need to sever the ties with Kanye if that is important. I am sure they have bigger seller with their other lines. Their Superstar and Stan Smith have always been classic buy for many people, I am sure they can survive without Yeezy line. Besides, it is the marketing of Yeezy that makes it so sought after. The initial price from the official shop and sale is decent, regular sneakers price range, it is the resellers/flippers that make the Yeezy line so expensive. As they would bulk buy it so it always sold out within minutes of release, then they will resell those n ebay or other websites for 3-4 times the price. And people like expensive things even if they need to starve or just eat instant ramen the whole month for it if that means they can brag it on the street, it gave them a sense of faux validation,  and that's how the whole crazy started.

Yeezy brought sneaker culture mainstream in the past few years, and made Adidas more relevant than ever. The Stan Smith and Superstar arguably had a resurgence because of the popularity of Yeezy's. Also, resale value has gone way down in the past year, and they still sell out. We're talking about millions of pairs.

Adidas isn't going to lose that, and you're ignorant if you think they would sever ties.
