A Hybrid

I swear today I listened to some Florence + The Machine and thought their new album will probably come out in 2020 since whenever I get into someone the gap between the last and next album becomes 5 years... My curse has lifted, LG6 won't keep us waiting until 2021!!!

Mark my words, The Kooks will release in 2019, exactly 5 years after their last album Listen

I CAN'T WAIT

So scared though, I can't let go of my love for HBHBHB and it's making me worry I won't like this one half as much. I'm never normally like this

YASS, SHE'S BEAUTIFUL AND IN COLOR :udidnt:

I wonder what this album will be like thematically or topically. With a title like "High as Hope" :flutter:

私自身もこの世の中も誰もかれもが, どんなに華やかな人生でも, どんなに悲惨な人生でも, いつかは変貌し, 破壊され、消滅してしまう. すべてがもともとこの世に存在しない一瞬の幻想なのだから

Another Mid-Summer album too. HBHBHB was the anthem of my summer 2015, so many tears and a lot of growing. It was right before I went to college

I used to sit on my roof in the rain - it was a rainy summer - and blast Third Eye, Delilah, Various Storms & Saints, etc. What a magical record, easily in my top 10.

私自身もこの世の中も誰もかれもが, どんなに華やかな人生でも, どんなに悲惨な人生でも, いつかは変貌し, 破壊され、消滅してしまう. すべてがもともとこの世に存在しない一瞬の幻想なのだから

She also did an interview with BBC her first in years

Also, RIP at this only being 10 tracks but no deluxe. Her first release to not have a deluxe ? :air: I need more merch on the beautiful website too.

Interested to hear South London Forever. Also so happy she's worked with Jamie XX!

Yes! I've been waiting forever!!
But the short track list is weird. Not to sound greedy.mp3, but she usually has close to 20 songs on an album now we only have 10

The cover can be better without the out of touch logo at the top left

She probably wanted to do a more cohesive album.
