The over prescription of opioids is a MAJOR issue.

Panadol does almost nothing when it comes to pain, it's just analgesic and it's better used for fever, painkillers are needed, but when you're rich you can be prescribed whatever you want i guess, medicine in the US is a huge mess.

Yeah it does do almost nothing, it provides minor pain relief, but the pain experienced after liposuction should be minor... 

"The intensity of pain immediately after liposuction is quite mild when local anesthesia is used because of the persistence of the local anesthetic effect. Even now he is saying he takes a prescribed pain pill every week or two which seems unnecessary...

He must be taking Tramadol, thats an opioid, but it makes you sleepy and a bit dizzy, nothing else, like smoking a joint, it's not something soooooo hard, tourists come to my pharmacy asking for that all the time, the problem is that some medicines in the US are taken like something so serious when they're not, i'm tired of seeing people on twitter acting so badass like yooo i take Xanax like they were taking heroine, when Alprazolam is just for anxiety and depression and just calms your CNS lol, I guess theres no medical education there.

Im prescribed tramadol among other things and its one of the lightest pain pills Ive had. It makes some sleepy but for me it just helps make me comfortable. Its nothing like stuff such as Oxycontin or even a 10mg percocet. 

The opioid situation is a tricky one because you have so many who dont need them or will take them for a freaking headache and now doctors are cracking down on who gets them. Alot of times it ends up the people in need go without all because of these junkies. Im going to be having a pretty heavy surgery later this year and if they were to give me tylenol or even a tramadol....I would be in pure Hell. Lol. 

So idk what the solution to the issue is and I know that wasnt the topic but its interesting.

From knowing people who have had liposuction done over the years, it can be very painful. I've seen the bruising and it can be extreme. Usually, the doctor gives you stronger medication to get through the first three days and then you move on to Tylenol. The people I know varied in their pain. Some could barely walk, needed help going to the restroom, felt nauseous or threw up because of the pain, etc. They needed pain meds the first few days. 

Obviously, Kanye kept going to doctors and getting pain meds for weeks and months. I doubt he used the lipo as an excuse for months. He probably came up with some other body pain and found a doctor who was willing to prescribe pain meds long term. 

Then again, I'm not sure what to believe coming from him. He could be in a full blown manic episode right now, especially if he is taking "two pills a week" for his mental illness.

I'd like to expand this post to mental illness. "Omg, I just had a manic episode, sorry for praising Trump's wall, I really wasn't myself!!" Drug addiction and mental illness doesn't make someone a bad person, nor does it lift the responsibilities and reprecussions that follow their actions.
