The first time i saw this i nearly cryed and felt awful for the next hours. It was just such an emotional scene. I was just shocked at how people were shocked. Like, guys come tf on When I saw Bucky die, I was shocked. But then when all the Guardians of the Galaxy people started dying, Spider-Man, Black Panther and Doctor Strange died I immediately relaxed and knew it wasn't serious and they'd be back. Like, Spider-Man and GOTG have sequels lined up and no way in hell would they kill off Black Panther or Doctor Strange after just one movie. Also, killing off big characters usually takes a bit of a built-up to properly say goodbye and not just PUF and they're gone forever. I'm still speechless because of people being so gullible. ModernEcstasy 8,931 Posted May 2, 2018 Share Posted May 2, 2018 I absolutely loved this movie. I shed a few tears when Peter was saying that he didn’t want to die (and when Groot disappeared too). It’s pretty obvious that Captain Marvel is gonna save the day. I believe that a few of the mains won’t return because Marvel have said that they want to move on to a new generation of heroes. And I hope they do not misuse the power of time manipulation just to have a basic excuse to bring them back. I think the MCU should finally stick to its stakes that they have been setting up carefully in this movie at this point - throwing it all away for nothing might cause not the feedback they wish to have. That is why I am also hoping for the characters that died before the snap, to stay dead. I think we all love the original Avengers, but the Marvel movies also need some fresh air and new Characters. Infinity War did a few things right and made some aspects better, so I hope they won't ruin the higher quality of their movies with the next Avengers, resulting in a basic plot and ending. Captain Marvel might be an important player in the next Avengers, because they follow currently the kind of introduction I thought would be best for her (Infinity War - Solo Movie - Avengers 4). Given that this movie will also introduce the Skrulls, Marvel could easily pull Secret Wars on us, if they want to. I really think a Secret Wars storyline is currently the most plausible one, because I am not sure how they would include the X-Men in the next phase (although I would be excited). I personally think it's too early for the inclusion of the X-Men... especially because they could not see the future and the deal is done in summer 2019. The only thing that is bugging me a bit in all these conversation about future movies is... (and I might remember the following wrong! so be gentle ) ... is that someone [if not James Gunn himself] said, that the Guardians Team is a Team that is supposed to change.
