However, although I think Gaga will get mentioned quite a lot, I don't think she'll get affected that much. She's never defended the man, and I think people are smart enough to realise that Gaga isn't a supporter of sexual abusers. HOWEVER - she wouldn't do too bad to fully condone him, apologise that they collaborated, and probably donate/promote the movement against him. Just make it fully clear. So her working with R. Kelly, recording the song and studio time etc., would be a time frame of post trial acquittal (hope that's the right words). So R. Kelly was seen as clear of charges. But if i remember correctly, when she was promoting dwuw in interviews she said the song is about how people say untrue things about her and r Kelly- clearly referencing his trial and reputation. It basically comes off as a dismissal of the women’s claims.
