While Trudeau has said over and over that he supports the Trans-Mountain pipeline and that it will be built and that British Columbia should stand down in their efforts to block it....

His Government is funding a $200 Million summer jobs programs who's main headline is "Stop Kinder Morgan Pipeline"

More ironically, he personally signed off the contract of the main assistant manager of the organization recently.

This is misleading.

First of all, 200 millions are for the whole program, not for this organization, which only receive funding for one position.

Second of all, it is very good news. It means that public funds given by programs like this are isolated from political interference. Regardless of your economic and political views, if you meet the criteria, you can receive funding. To twist this as a backdoor funding by Trudeau himself is straight up bad faith, but nothing new or surprising coming from the Conservatives. And I am not even a Trudeau fan.

It shows that Trudeau's governement is able to stand for his government's political agenda and still understand the good in funding a diversity of organizations within the civil society, strengthening the free exchange of ideas and opinions.

You should be happy tbvh.

Oh yeah. My problem with Trudeau is he never takes a hardline on any position it's like he doesn't wanna offend any political side and Mences words

Even this pipeline issue he's said over and over he wants it built and that BC doesn't have jurisdiction to stop it yet he's being super soft with BC and not doing anything probably to not politically upset his base there.

I'm sure he will be happy if Alberta and Saskatchewan do good on their threat to shut off oil and natural gas to British Columbia to pressure them so that way he doesn't have to take the political heat

Yes exactly! and it's a big issue, it's just shows how small and weak politician he is.. at first I bought his acting but now I'm really questioning him.. it's like too good to be true kind of thing that at the end it's just harming the country..
