This made me soooo happy. Like I’m in Europe and I have nothing to do with Korea, but I’m happy for the people in Korea and this will be a huge stap for world peace. Respect for both sides for doing this.

Hahaha. More than being silly this is just a really America-centric view of East Asian geopolitics. The fact of the matter is that nothing would have been accomplished while Park Geun-Hye was in power in Korea (based on her personal history and her policy towards North Korea, which are intertwined). There's no questioning that the relationship between North and South Korea began to thaw when Moon Jae-In became president. You would NEVER have seen Park and Kim holding hands.

OP: This is a great moment in history, and I look forward to a better future as one Korea. It will be difficult like when West and East Germany reunited, but peace and love triumphs all. One history, one race, and one language will get to be one country again.

Sweetie this is still the man that holds his people in concentration camps and had his own brother killed. He does NOT deserve a peace prize, this end of war was out of desperation and a heavy handed push by China.

Imo, this does have Trump's name all over it in a way. Kim was faced with an even bigger and stronger lunatic so he backed down. Trump still doesn't deserve a peace prize or some sh*t though  you don't deserve a PEACE prize for promising to rain down "fire and fury" or "totally annihilate" another country. That's just unhinged lunacy.

Edit: Though the change in leadership was probably a much larger factor

I'm glad the war's coming to an end though. I wish Michael was here to see this  after his 1999 performance in Seoul, he said he'd never perform in either Korea again until peace came about and here we are

Obama failed in Syria, Korea, etc. everywhere in the world. Not a hard task to outshine him.

Trump achieved already much more than all three previous presidents combined. He improved America's economy, lowered taxes, people have more money than ever before. Also Trump is the first president to have the balls to get into a fight with the unfair duty customs of the European Union. What many people don't know is, that American companies must pay a lot of duty customs to enter the EU market, it's only fair if America responds by reciprocating it and it's good that Trump does not allow his own country to be betrayed.

I don't think however that he should get the Nobel Prize of Peace. You know, Obama got it and it extremely damaged the reputation of the Nobel Prize of Peace. It used to be a price of peace, but since Obama and the EU already got it, too, the price is associated with shame and leading useless wars. Trump is too cool for such an honourless price.

He had talks with China and together Trump and China brought peace to Korea, he knows how to handle such situations.
