so back in the day siobhan fahey split from her band bananrama (who were like the spice girls or 1D of the 1980s) to form Shakespeare's sister with marchella detroit. the band was very short lived and went through tons of problems/controversy which led to them disbanding in a really short period of time. but regardless they still left us with some epic timeless bops. their aesthetic took inspiration from movies like cat women of the moon and sunset boulevard which led to them doing a visual album called hormonally yours (and that's before beyonce)

their look was just so Gothic and unique.

Hormonally Yours is a masterpiece and Stay obviously had the impact (Gaga giving it a shoutout was nice lol). Shame they couldn’t stay together longer.

I know apparently both women hated each other deeply because siobhan was an alcoholic and wanted marcella to have an abortion so they could on tour. btw when did gaga shout them out?

How interesting. It's so rare that she gets to talk about her taste and inspiration which is a shame she seems so interesting. I'd kill to know what she watches in her spare time
