Lady Gaga Will Reinvent back to Stefani Germanotta

I know this is a theory circulating over and over again, but I have to prove a fact.

 

Lady Gaga is over Lady Gaga

 

Just like Bowie is over Ziggy Stardust

 

The two mirror one another.

 

But here are facts why I think she will turn back to Stefani Germanotta.

 

She starts of with Joanne, her real name. She wants us to shift our attention to Gaga the persona to Joanne the person.

 

Second,  a Star is Born. She wants to be credited as Stefani Germanotta. She wants to direct the attention to her acting. Why would she simply use her real name? To gather more GP? To get some more straight fans who are too afraid that they would be labelled as "gay" for watching a "Gaga" movie? Maybe not. But listen...

 

Since she will be credited as Stefani for the film...

 

 

She will also be credited as Stefani in the soundtrack.

 

 

 

Now, it's a slow process. But when their plans go right, this could happen. If the songs of ASIB would be a hit, people would wonder, who is this Stefani chick? O, it's Gaga. People would eat that and say, wow! She actually sounds good (well, the GP).

 

Also, with the adcent of Brooklyn Nights being a hit in iTunes, people would still actually eat anything Stefani could release. Why does Stefani Germanotta have a Spotify profile until now? Why is Poker Face there?

 

I know we had this coming. David Bowie said that he shifted from Ziggy because he felt that Ziggy was taking over in a bad way. Toxic. Do you think Gaga felt the same? Now that she's focusing on family now, people calling her Stefani, Joanne, do you think this theory makes sense?

 

 

Also, there's a theory that every year with an 8 has a big artist that debuts and will be iconic.

 

1998-Britney

2018-Stefani

 

Will this be a Whitney moment for Gaga? Will she pull a Beyonce and release a self titled album, change her image, but this time, it's under Stefani Germanotta?

She will be credited as Lady Gaga in ‘A Star is Born’ (Per herself on Twitter) 

And she still seems unimpressed though say the least when people call her Stefani. (Per Shangela in an interview)

Well, one thing she did confirm was she'll be credited as Gaga for ASIB. On Twitter.

 

I think at one point, what you say may have been her intention. In FF2, she said that she could elevate her image but, "I can't become Lady Gaga again," while talking about her Joanne persona. It seems like her plans changed though. "Xoxo Joanne" became "Xoxo Gaga" and she squashed the rumors of being credited as Stefani on ASIB.

As for calling her Stefani on set, I think people do that because she's an actress there and they don't wanna be overwhelmed with the idea of working with this superstar that they're a fan of. This is pretty common in the industry. 

I get the whole "Stefani" appeal (but she would never put Germanotta there because most people simply won't take the time to try and pronounce it) and it has worked for many people. I don't think it's something for her. Gaga is just too iconic of a name to let go. It's still a huge part of her and who she is. And I think she's been realizing that she can't just let it go even if, for one era, she wants you to call her Joanne.

This is very interesting and I do believe that she may have considered this from an artistic point of view at one point in time. However, I do believe with the little hints here and there (xoxo joanne becoming xoxo Gaga and ASIB being credited as Gaga along with her screaming “sorry Joanne, a new girl has come to play” at the JWT) we can infer that this is simply not the case anymore.

It would be very interesting to see where Gaga takes it as shes a true chameleon. However, we must remember that the persona of Ziggy Stardust and Lady Gaga are different. For Gaga, the Lady Gaga persona was literally her just a different name than her birth name. Ziggy was more of an alter ego.

Also, do we really think the persona of “Stefani” that we saw before Gaga will really fit today? Like, would that attract people? Unless she changes the whole Stefani persona, but then it wouldnt he Stefani at all would it?

I am so here for here breaking the gaga shell and releasing music as stefani. Joanna is more stefani than gaga. But the fact that she released Joanna as gaga rather than stefani I think she will be sticking with gaga longer than what you think than switching titles. 

Personally I would love for her to take the name change and go back to future love and blueberry kisses. She’s already built up a fan base to support whatever she does, so I hope whatever it is next, it is something she loves and actually wants to create musically.
