I DVR'd SNL last night and fast-forwarded through it this morning like I always do

And I came across this sketch with lobsters singing tunes from Les Mis (don't ask because I have no idea). And I would've kept fast-forwarding, but KATE MCKINNON WAS DRESSED UP LIKE GAGA AND SINGING BROADWAY!

This is actually a really smart move on Bobby Campbell's part: this skit not only jogs the GP's memory of her iconic 2015 Oscar Performance, but paves the path towards her slayage with the ASIB soundtrack tour, steals a healthy chunk of Beyonce's Coachella spotlight, and simultaneously opens the door for Gaga to eventually pursue her dreams of a culinary empire. The man is a freaking genius and it is so irritating when some of you try to continually discredit him. What we have here is a master class in marketing and promotion.

And this is definitely not the first time SNL has paid tribute to Gaga. In 2016 they did a skit where a woman named Joanne fell out of a window.

lol because you think Bobby had anything to do with it? :laughga: SNL skits don't work that way.

EDIT: hadn't read it thoroughly and hopefully this is a joke thread....

Wow John Mulaney is a true insider! He predicted the lobster and made sketch about it before it even happened!
