Russia is one of the pioneer in military research, just this year they presented new technology like drones, submarines and even a missile that can travel the entire planet

True but winning an all out firefight? I think that's a bit unlikely but I'm not going to pull a Trump here and say "our missiles are bigger"  and I might be giving Putin too much credit but I still doubt he wants a war with the U.S. Maybe a political and economic pissing match () but not a full blown war. At least, not over this.

True but winning an all out firefight? US had this role because it was very profitable : good relationship with protected country, easy diplomacy etc. That's good for investments and trades.

But now Europe, Russia and China tries to be more independant and safe, so they increase their defence budgets and the US needs to invest twice more to keep the hegemony. But this won't be sustainable for a long time anymore because it costs more and more to the US citizen. However not having a hegemony could be very dangerous for world peace because if few countries can ally each other to be as powerful as an other they could be greedy and threaten the stability of the world  

About the second part, of course Putin doesn't want a war. Nobody want a war because it would be an error for the entire world. But Russia has state-of-the-art weapons : hypersonic missile, laser technology, etc. It can be very dissuasive  And tbh I don't even want to think about what a real modern war could look like  Let's hope it would just be striking military facilities and hacking powerplants to shut down power in the country

World peace depends on US military? 

Is this really what US citizens think? Because everybody else on this planet knows that US is the biggest threat to peace.

This exactly, I live in the US but if you go to any other country, take Syria for example, they’ll tell you that the rebel forces or it’s people aren’t the problem, they’ll say our soldiers and our missles are. The US has constantly meddled in other countries affairs, causes mischief, then leaves and watches them crumble and slowly fall apart. It’s what it’s good at.

Yes i expect that for the US since it spends more money on military spending in a year then the world combined lol. As i mentioned earlier Russia's current strength is all smoke and mirrors hence why it feels the need to try and showcase it's strength like that.

Yes, none of those countries would attack to US for obvious reasons, but that does not equal to “world peace depends on US”, when US is the biggest agressor against other countries.

world is so much bigger than US and its allies. Honey, you have no moral rights to say US is the reason of peace in world, when in fact all US does is plan-plot-attack-destroy-leave. Look at the currently ongoing issues and conflicts in the world. You definitely will see US behind.

Okay people panicking about WW3. Russia would be so stupid to attack the US and 2 of its strongest allies. They would lose in a heartbeat. 

Now people trashing the US. Yes we are the bad cops. We had to take over this role after u idiots almost let a german dictator dominate the world. If it weren’t fir us you’d all be speaking German. Update: Looks like I was wrong

The Russians are taking their hacking to the next level. They've apparently already gotten access to personal internet routers as well as control over things like the electrical grid, nuclear power plants, and more. Looks like we're on the verge of cyber warefare at least, possibly actual warfare.

WW3 might very well be upon us  it'll be a quick war, we know that.

Watch Trump still deny Russian hacking because of the election meddling. I wish he'd just own up to it, say they helped him get into office, then be an adult about it. "I might not deserve to be here but I am here and I'll do my very best to listen well and lead our country into this struggle".

He won't but I wish he would.
