She definately makes some absolute bops, but no one can deny how basic the beats and lyrics she uses/has ghostwritten are. Add that with her being lightskin and having this persona where people are either laughing with her or at her, and you have a huge success known as Cardi B. lol generic beats/lyrics don't give you a universally acclaimed album. and stop saying she has a ghostwriter and diminishing her just because she's a black woman. black women can write too

I don't like Cardi's music at all, and my favourite rap musicians are Death Grips, Kendrick Lamar and Kanye West, who have critically acclaimed albums. As far as female rappers go, I like M.I.A., not much else. Okay so youre basically saying you're pretentious and only care about rap when its under the guise of avant garde I love Kanye as well but Invasion of Privacy is blatantly a better album than Pablo which was overrated to hell honestly. You literally said it in the post a quoted; but, maybe, that’s not what you meant since English is not your native Language. Her father is Dominican. She speaks Spanish. She’s Latina. End of discussion.

No I'm saying that not liking Cardi B doesn't mean you are not a fan of rap. That's stupid, and that's what the other user was stating. The examples I gave are just artists who are respected as great rappers, not because they are avant garde. You didn't need to answer me though, the user who I quoted already did and he was very much polite. I haven't even heard Invasion of Privacy, I can't stand Bodak Yellow and Bartir Cardi. Black women have been churning out excellence for thousands of years so don't even try any of that anti-black bullshit with me bitch. **** you. Cardi B's ghost written lyrics (that she has even admitted to) are an embarrassment to the strong lineage of female rappers that have changed the music industry forever. She isn't even black- she identifies as a Latina but loves to use the N word Universal acclaim? Clearly you don't understand how record labels like Atlantic manipulate and can even bribe radio hosts and critics to give good reviews and good promo. And the state of the music industry right now, mediocre is seen as excellent. You tried to make this a race thing and you tried to appear smarter than you actually are - but you failed. But you're also making it sound like you can't POSSIBLY be black AND latino. It's very ignorant of the fact that the transatlantic slave trade didn't just affect North America, it affected South America & the Carribean too. Also a very nice quote of Cardi on this whole ordeal that you can find with one single google search: "I feel like people need to understand or get a passport and travel. I don’t got to tell you that I’m black. I expect you to know it. When my father taught me about Caribbean countries, he told me that these Europeans took over our lands. That’s why we all speak different languages. I expect people to understand that just because we’re not African American, we are still black," Cardi continues. "It’s still in our culture. Just like everybody else, we came over here the same ****ing way. I hate when people try to take my roots from me. Because we know that there’s African roots inside of us. I really just want people to understand that the color that I have and features that I have are not from two white people ****ing." https://www.fuse.tv/2018/02/cardi-b-afro-latina-heritage-shouldnt-be-erased

You made an assumption, and once someone makes a counter argument youre too stupid and ignorant to actually read whats being said. Lol. Its cute though how youre trying to sound so smart tho - trying to make me sound anti-black, and now trying to make me sound anti-afro latino/a.
